To Come Forth In Due Time

“To come forth by the gift and power of God unto the interpretation thereof—Sealed by the hand of Moroni, and hid up unto the Lord, to come forth in due time by way of the Gentile—The interpretation thereof by the gift of God.” Title Page of the Book of Mormon

Our Heavenly Father is a God of planning. He has a plan for all things. God knows the end from the beginning and has prepared every needful thing to accomplish His purposes.

I believe that God has a plan for me. He trusts that I will choose to align my desires with His will so that He may bless me with what He prepared for me before I was born. In His love, He also prepared a plan of redemption, knowing that I would falter and that I would sin. God created the plan of happiness. The plan of salvation is a victorious plan. It will not fail if we trust God, place our faith in Him, keep His commandments, and rely on Jesus Christ’s mercy—for forgiveness and for the enabling power to change our hearts and purify our souls.

I know that God has a great plan for me. He has blessed me with the gift of speaking so that I may share the good news with those who are willing to listen—sharing messages of hope and strength with the downtrodden, and lifting those who feel there is no way forward. I am grateful for my life and for the experiences and opportunities I have been given—a girl from the small town of Bombon in the Philippines, born into poverty, now enjoying the blessings of family and friends, safety, opportunity, and financial stability. God is good.

I look forward to the next chapter He has prepared for me as I navigate my children growing older, Carl and me reaching the peak of our careers, and my own step into the world of coaching and public speaking.

I am confident that God knows who I am. He invites me to work diligently and to walk with Him as I pursue my dreams and strive to reach my highest potential during this temporary journey called life.
